On April 18, 2002, repair work began on the fences around KYFR's four towers. Years of wind, rain and ice have worn away the dirt around and inside each tower fence, exposing ground wires and weakening the fence supports. The cattle allowed to graze on the site have also worn down the areas around the corner fenceposts.

You can see the exposed and broken ground wires in the eroded
soil around Tower 4's fence.

overcast but warm morning.

the next step.
