Before
the gravel can be spread around each tower site, repairs must be
made to the ground wires and fences.

broken grounding wires on the fence with new copper wire.

DeStefano uses a propane torch to repair the broken
ground wires. |
An
oxyacetylene torch is needed to reattach the grounding
wires to the galvanized fence.

| With
the fence wires and ground wires repaired, the gravel is
shoveled and raked into the ditches around the fence and
also on the inside. |
The
exposed ground wires in the ditch (as seen on page 1) are
now buried deep under the dirt and gravel... |
