Letters From Listeners

I've been keeping busy here in prison with your Bible study courses. God said He would guide us into all truth, and that the truth would set us free. Last December I turned 52 years-old. Thank you for your precious time. May God's blessings rest upon you as you live for Him each day, and may you bear much fruit for His Glory. --Clarinda, IA

I don't know what I would do without KYFR. When the station shuts off momentarily due to weather or some other reason, I always get real concerned that you have left us, and I don't want that to happen. Keep our Rev. Robert A. Cook coming, what a blessed way to start the day. --Bedford, IA

I've just went through the worse time of my life. Loss of a mother I've loved and been dependent on for all 39 years of my life, threw me into depression, nervous breakdown, and thinking serious of ending it many times. But your station is always on in my room day and sleepless night. It gives me the courage and comfort; I can get through. God bless you all. --St. Joseph, MO

I listen to KYFR and it is a special blessing to me. Sometimes I get to feeling down and begin to think that the world is getting the best of me. I turn on KYFR and hear the familiar voices of the Family Radio staff praising the Lord and worshipping Him and I begin to see that there is more to this life than just worldly goods. KYFR played a role in my being born again. Thank you, Family Radio, for everything. --Fairfax, MO

Thank you for playing Christmas songs after Christmas is past. It seems that at the stroke of midnight on Christmas other radio stations pack away all Christmas music. It is a joy to hear Silent Night and others occasionally during the year on Family Radio. --Nebraska City, NE

I am single and lonely at this time of the year (Christmas); all is built around the family. I lost my mother a little over a year ago. Family Radio is my close friend through these lonely times. I'm closer to God, and Family Radio helps keep me there. Thanks again for your station. It is one of God's best gifts to me. --St. Joseph, Mo

Several years ago when one of my boys was living in what I call 'The Dark World' I prayed for a radio station that would, by it's beautiful music, convey the peace that only comes from our great God - and He sent you to us in KYFR in Shenandoah - "abundantly above all we ask or think"! --Red Oak, Iowa

I praise God for the day I "accidentally" tuned in KYFR...Without open love, prayers, and Christian programming these past few months, I would have really been a distraught person. My husband of 33 years left me for another. --Admire, KS

I don't think I could of gone on if it wasn't for your radio station. I play it almost all day and night. Love all your programs. I lost my husband of 45 years a couple months ago. I have alot to be thankful for. I asked God when we got married, please give me at least 25 years. He gave me 45 years, for which I'm deeply greatful. My greatest wish now is for me to kneel at Jesus's feet in heaven and say here I am Lord, me and all the beautiful wonderful children you sent me. --Union, NE

I sure do like your programs, especially using more of the real true gospel music, instead of junk or some contemporary music. I don't believe some of this so-called modern music, the young folk flock for is soul winning. So keep up your good work. Your programs are good. --Woodbine, IA

On Sunday afternoon I had to drive over 400 miles into southern Missouri. I normally don't drive long distances without my husband. I had KYFR on the radio until static in the Kansas City area made listening impossible... After leaving Kansas City, I was getting tired, so I offered a short prayer for the ability to stay awake. I again turned on the radio, and God answered my prayer by sending KYFR again for quite a long distance. Thanks again for your broadcasting in this area. --Omaha, NE
