May 2, 2001 The new transmitter arrives in Coin, Iowa about 3 miles from the transmitter site.

Brought to the transmitter site in a small pickup.

Unloading the crated transmitter. It was so heavy, Mike almost had to help.
Oops! Either the doorway is too small or the crate is too big. No amount of pushing is going to do it.

Have to uncrate the transmitter to fit it through the door.
Mike's son, Joey shows him how it's done. With a few shoves, it's finally in place.

The next day, Don Horton, KYFR's engineer, inspects the new transmitter for loose parts and stray electrons.
